Horizon to Houston Relief Team

Horizon will be sending a team of people down to Calvary Chapel Houston. The church is located in Friendswood, Tx. This area was devastated by around 46″ of rain. The flooding in places reached the attics of some of the homes.

There are three main areas of service we will be involved with:

  • Clearing out houses, which includes gutting them out so that new drywall, carpet, and other home features can be rebuilt so the owners can move back in.
  • Food prep and serving for the others groups down in the area serving.
  • Serving at a food pantry.

Donations Needed

  • Dual Cartridge Respirators
  • Gloves for demolition and gloves for food service
  • Breakfast/cereal/Cliff bars/trail mix
  • Non-perishables
  • Bottled water
