Fight Well

Marriage is a gift. It is a prize. Your spouse is a treasure. But if you have been married for longer than a few days you will have certainly come to realize what a battle it is to have a marriage that is beautiful. A marriage that reflects the redemptive work of Jesus, that typifies Christ’s relationship with us! There is often so much that is left unsearched and unexperienced within marriage because of the difficulty we face in living life with our spouses. Whether it is the business of life, crazy (awesome) kids, sickness, unmet expectations, our own selfishness – the list could go on and on.

We want to see fullness and marriages that so beautifully display the kind of self-sacrificing love we have known from our savior. We want to see people further sanctified and made more into the image of Christ and we believe that God has given marriage (among other things) to be a unique vehicle that can shape and form us spiritually. It is just hard! It is a fight.

We want to fight well and hard for our marriages. We do not want to give the enemy, the flesh, the world any more ground. We want to see powerful, life-altering, neighborhood-changing, Christ-centered, Gospel-powered, Spirit-filled marriages! Set aside October 19-20 and begin to pray for your marriage and that God would use this conference to draw these unions closer to Himself – for His glory! Let’s fight well!
