The Exodus Journey (also known as the “Wilderness Trip”) is a mandatory, one-week backpacking trip into an Indiana forest. For five days, students will be unplugged from the outside world and will learn about themselves, each other, and God. One day of the trip is set aside for the students’ 24-hour period of fasting and reading the Word in isolation to connect with God in a very special way! The trip, though not easy, is often a milestone in students’ bible college experiences and sometimes in their lives as they spend a whole day reading the Word and listening in the quiet for God’s voice to their hearts. A time learning to lead and follow each other, lessons in learning to bear with one another in love as we spend 5 days together with no other distractions; as God speaks to us teaching us to work together as the body of Christ loving and caring for one another.
